Administrative support for the enhancement of the Sardinia Radio Telescope
OAC – Astronomical Observatory of Cagliari
The Astronomical Observatory of Cagliari, belonging to INAF – National Institute of Astrophysics, has presented a project proposal for the enhancement of the Sardinia Radio Telescope, funded by the PON Research and Innovation 2014-2020 for a financed value of over 18 million euros.
The institution’s need was to achieve the project’s realization in just under 2 years.
The high complexity of the topics and the number and type of actors involved required strategic and technical support to the RUP from the planning, design, and management phase of all interventions related to the enhancement of the Sardinia Radio Telescope for the study of the Universe at high radio frequencies – SRT_HighFreq.
Our solution
Increasing researchers’ awareness of the complexity of tendering procedures by assisting them in articulating their needs, strategically identifying the best tendering procedures to implement, and supporting the RUP in all phases of conducting competitive dialogues

- Definition and collection of requirements for precise definition of needs
- Support to researchers in the development of technical specifications
- Assistance in building competitive dialogues in all phases of the process – from document construction to management of technical dialogues during tendering
