AMA S.p.A., as described on the company’s website, is the largest operator in Italy in the integrated management of environmental services. Established as a joint-stock company in 2000, it has a single shareholder, the Municipality of Rome, which holds the entire share capital. With over 7,000 employees, the company serves a catchment area of 2,848,084 people (Fonte Comune di Roma dato Istat – year 2019). The total length of the roads reached is 5,500 km, while the operating area covers an area of 1,300 square kilometers, from which annually about 1,570,000 tons of waste are collected.
AMA performs daily sweeping operations covering an area equal to 7 times Milan, 10 times Paris, or Barcelona.

The results achieved
The areas of support to A.M.A. are:
- Organization, processes, and procedures, document templates; support in identifying and implementing improvement interventions aimed at making the planning and management process of tenders faster and more effective, also with reference to the revision of both approval and documentary models;
- revision and drafting of tender documentation; support in the preparation of the complete tender documentation (such as specifications, annexes, bidding schedules, contract, tender) on procedures at a lower price and/or more economically advantageous, on the basis of the information contained in the Technical Specifications already prepared by the proposing structures.
