Silanus – creating enabling and functional conditions to enhance the historical identity of the village through the construction of an innovative model of tourist offer.
A challenging project
The Municipality of Silanus, a town of 2,200 inhabitants in the province of Nuoro, has embraced the challenge of attracting visitors to the area through an event called the NOIS project. The NOIS project is an initiative aimed at promoting the territory through the theme of photography, which has allowed the reconstruction of the historical memory and authenticity of the territory.
Some of the most relevant results include: photographic installations distributed in the urban center, the restoration of a museum house, but above all, during the last event held in 2017, the Municipality of Silanus recorded about 10,000 visitors who visited the most representative sites in the area.
In this perspective, the project evolves into NOIS PLUS. Through the instrument of partnership for innovation, the aim is to create enabling and functional conditions to enhance the historical identity of the village, local know-how, and the genius loci.
The realization of this project consists in the creation and integration of a large database of the historical knowledge heritage of the village, referring to the urban fabric, people, cultural and archaeological assets, traditions, customs, and everything that can be represented and disseminated through analog images and digital technological intertwining currently not present on the market.
Our solution
Supporting the Contracting Authority (Rup) throughout the innovation partnership procedure: from designing and managing the preliminary market consultation, defining the procurement strategy, preparing the tender documentation, to providing technical assistance in the various phases of the innovation partnership.
The results achieved
The project revolves around a specific product innovation, the experimentation and prototyping of an integrated package of technologies capable of enhancing the emotions associated with the “user experience” to valorize territorial resources, capture attention during promotion, increase visitor engagement, collect and analyze information, and support the decisions of the Municipality
