Sector

The Municipality of Fonni’s need arises from seeking and identifying new solutions that, with the support of new technologies, can meet the growing needs of managing urban waste collection and cycles, moving towards a model of proximity to citizens’ needs, sustainability, and innovation in a smart city perspective.

Furthermore, the objective for the Municipality of Fonni is the maximization of efficiency in waste collection and disposal processes, through the active participation of residents. This will allow the transition to accurate waste tariff calculation, sharing of information, and citizen accountability for correct waste disposal, implementing the “Pay As You Throw” paradigm – “you pay for what you throw away“.

The project, one of the most advanced in Italy, has been included among the innovative contracts by the government, on par with projects from regions such as Trentino, Valle d’Aosta, and Piedmont, just to name a few.

Our solution

Support to the Contracting Authority (RUP) in the implementation of the research and development contract through the design and management of the preliminary market consultation and the organization of the presentation event of the procedure, definition of the tender strategy, tender documentation, and technical assistance to the RUP in the various phases of the contract.
