Compagnia San Paolo, as part of its activities as a patron for the Municipality of Genoa, asked us for support for the implementation of the operational plan for the development of the Civic Museums of Genoa.

Our solution

Through precise involvement with different stakeholders – museum directors, curators, management of the Municipality – an operational development plan has been realized. This plan, starting from the municipal strategic plan, has declined lines of action and interventions for the development of museums and the related organizational mechanisms to facilitate the effective implementation of the plan.

The operational development plan was the synthesis document of the following activities which have been held:

as is analysis: interviews with directors and curators to identify strengths, areas for improvement and potential development for each museum
analysis of the museum offer through benchmarking of best practices at national and international level
analysis of museum services to identify the gaps in the offer, also referring to the LUQ established by the Ministry of Culture
analysis of museum governance, proposals and elements of evolution
action plan with details of projects to be implemented and details concerning the terms of feasibility (time and cost)
